Your West Seattle dentist office is full of women.
In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m alluding to the fact that Areesa, our business manager, and her husband are about to welcome a bouncing baby boy into their family! So while Areesa is gone on maternity leave, we’d like to introduce you to Ray!
Ray has actually been working for Dr. Kirchner for quite awhile, just more in a behind the scenes sort of way. He played a big part in helping convert all of the patient files from paper to digital when the office went paperless, and you may have seen him off and on helping Areesa up front. He has agreed to work full time and be the business manager for Areesa while she is on maternity leave snuggling her new little guy.
Ray will be the person you see at the end of your appointments. He will be presenting treatment plans (ie: telling you what work you need done and in what order), going over your insurance benefits, getting you scheduled for any work you may need done and/or cleanings, and of course collecting your co-pays and deductibles.
But wait, what about Cindi, the Business Office Receptionist, is she still going to be around??
That is a great question! You will still see her smiling face greeting you as you come through the door. She will make sure all of your information, both insurance and contact, is up to date, and if we don’t have a picture of you yet she will snap one real quick. She will still be working hard to verify your dental benefits in advance so you have the most up to date information regarding your policy. You’ll still hear her voice on your answering machine reminding you of your dental appointments and she will still be able to help you reschedule or schedule any appointments you may need. She’s not going anywhere!
For now, Ray will be working with Areesa every Monday for the next 5-6 weeks until her baby is born. He will then be here full time until she is recovered and comes back from maternity leave. We will miss Areesa while she is gone, but we couldn’t be happier about who will be minding the store till she gets back!
Be sure to give Ray a warm welcome when you see him!
