This month we are shining the spot light on one of your West Seattle dentist‘s lovely assistants Jessica! While she’s been with Dr. Kirchner for a little over a year, she has brought 10 years of experience with her from her previous office! She’s a great addition to our team! Read on to get to know her a little better:
So, tell us a little bit about yourself.
I am a pretty easy going individual. Family and friends are very important to me, as is spending time with my husband and two dogs. I enjoy photography, crafts, puzzles, games & traveling.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in what I would call a smaller town, Snohomish Washington. It is now much more developed than when I was a child. I lived out of
town with hardly any neighbors and had 2.5 acres to run and play on! I would love one day to raise my family in an area much like I grew up on, out of the city, room to run, play and explore!
That does sound like a lot of fun! No wonder you enjoy photography and exploring. You probably had ample opportunity when you were a kid! So how did you decide to work in the dental field?
I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to do when I finished high school, so when my older sister said she got me a job offer at the dental office she worked at I took it! (It sure beat bagging groceries!) There I was trained on the job to be a dental assistant and 10 years later here I am! 🙂
Wow! 10 years of experience! That must be awesome to be able to claim! Alright, lets head into the silly questions of our getting to know you: If you could have a year off with pay, what would you do?
I would do two things. I would master my photography skills and techniques. Then I would LOVE to travel!
I’d travel to Europe and the tropics! Explore different cultures and enjoy the sights. I’ve always wanted to go to Greece, Italy, Bahamas, Paris & Norway!
OK, last two questions, I think I know the answer to this one already, but favorite hobby?
One of my passions is photography! I am currently taking classes to become a much better photographer. I enjoy the endless creativity it allows me.
And do you happen to have a Favorite Color?
Blue and Purple are my favorite colors!
There you have it folks! Jessica in a nutshell! So next time you’re in the office, bring a puzzle and share some travel and photography tips with Jessica!
And be sure to check out the blog next week when we announce what the prize in our next sweepstakes will be!
